I've been offered a 24" IMAC that has some issue with fusion drive for US$200, I mostly use my 5,1 macbook but it would be cool to have a 24" screen to work on photoshop. So I would like to know where to get a caddy to put a SSD instead of the superdrive, I've been looking on ebay but I'm not sure of what I'm doing, could anyone point to a caddy that would fit my needs please?

Will any of these be ok?

Also, is it possible to install OS on the SSD from my macbook so the imac would just work fine after I install the SSD? I want to format the original HDD for data. I really don't care about fusion drive, should I?

Thanks.

You may have perplexed most people because 2009 models didn't come with a Fusion Drive.

Well actually the owner says it shut down randomly and he said it was a problem with fusion drive, now he's saying that he don't know what's wrong. Should I go for it?
