Which camcorders are supported by FCP?

I am trying to find information on which camcorders are supported in FCP (version 7) for log and transfer.
Some camcorder footage recorded to memory cards doesn't seem able to be imported into FCP using log and transfer.
Is this about specific camcorders or about some particular format of the recorded footage?
Is there a site where this is explained?

Seriously, I've never found a camera whose footage couldn't be imported. If the files play in Quicktime, FCP can edit them. If they can't, then they can be transcoded.

Do you have any specifics? The only cases I can think of are some cams like the NX CAM recording in SD mode. FCP couldn't grab the MPEG2 streams. I think that may have been corrected now.

No problems at all with the HD footage.
