And why? I went with 64, and after my 30gb of music and the OS I've got 20gb left. I'm considering swapping for a 128 but don't know if I'll need it. I'm not a power user but I do take a lot of photos and the occasional video. Trying to get an idea of how other people considered their choice.

64 because it's right in the middle. Enough room to take care of business. Wife got 128 because she takes lots of photos and videos of the kids.

64 seemed just right as I'm using iCloud photo library now which was the biggest culprit of storage usage. Moving all that into a 500gb icloud drive was the only smart move for me.

128GB because 16 is too small and my 32GB iPhone was always full. Since I travel and have the lightning to HDMI connection it will hold a fair amount of movies. Not to mention a lot of music.

I just got back from exchanging my 64GB model for a 128GB model.

Do I need all the space?, probably not but over the next couple of years I'm sure it will pay off having not to worry about managing space.

128 Gig for me. Why? Because there is no such thing as "too much space" when it comes to disk storage!:D

I got 64, I think it should be 32gb, 64gb and 128gb as options for the price point of these phones. 16gb is way too small nowadays.

Exchanged 128GB for 64GB because 128 was way too much storage for my needs :)

I was originally going to buy a 32GB (assumed that they'd replace 16 with 32). Then they announced that they were replacing 32 with 64 and I was like well hell, just $100 more and I'd have as much storage as a Macbook Air. I don't regret my decision. Movies movies!

Haven't bought mine yet but when I do it'll be 64. While I'd love 128, I cant justify the cost. At least its still double what I have.

64 Gb ... coming from a 16 Gb iPhone 5 which is only 67 % full, but I've always tried to keep it "clean" as much as I could : now I want to keep more apps, pics and music ready to be used without having to download each time I need them ... 64 should be largely enough, going 128 would mean completely ignore any kind of cloud help ...
