I need your advice. I bought a new iPhone which came without a charging brick but the cable that was included is lightning to USB-C. I have old 5W charging bricks but those are USB-A. That means I have to buy a new one but I only found 20W UCB-C option from Apple. Is it so that Apple doesn’t make those older type 5W bricks with USB-C? I don’t mind
slower charging , I’d rather preserve the battery. If I use that 20W charger is it worse for the longevity of the battery? Thanks.

U can use any brand. I recommend Anker. Or use ipad or MB charger as well.

i guess most household have some USBC already since it comes with almost anything in the last 10 years.

Or buy a usb a to usb c cable (if iphone 15). lightning when older

They never did. Get a USB-A to Lightning cable to keep using your old charger.

This.

Or, buy nothing: I'm assuming OP already has an A to Lightning that came with the brick for previous phone.

But, agree, Apple never had USB-C 5W. And can't recall seeing anyone with anything less than 12W: seem to recall Phillips had them but no longer listed on Amazon.

Use your 5w charger if you are not in a hurry and usually charge overnight. Otherwise buy an Anker. If you hava a MacBook, you can buy a 65W Anker and use for your devices. I have been using mine for 2 years now and happy with it.

Anker makes a 10 watt USB-C charger block that is about the size of the 5 watt Apple charger. It is what I use to charge my 15 PM. Has all night so no need for faster charging.

Lightning to USB-C adaptors or in any other combination available on Amazon.

Link? Please.

Been looking for something like this for a while and turn up nothing (see my earlier post). Some no-names but nothing/noone I would trust.

Have some of the Anker 12W 2-port USB-A blocks, but looking to start replacing the old Apple 5W blocks I still use with C blocks.
