Our family of electronics grew this Christmas morning, as we welcomed several new members. I'm setting up a charging station that will serve some combination of 2 iPhone 11, 2 iPads (new version), couple of old iPods, Kindle, PS4 controller, etc. I'd like to use a USB hub so I don't need all the power bricks and just have the wires there.

I know the new iPads have higher wattage chargers. What should I look for in a USB hub? Is there a certain wattage that each port will provide? Will multiple devices cause the ports to lower their output? Looks like some are designed to allow you to transfer data as well from several thumb drives, etc. but I won't be using it for that.

Please let me know any recommendations. Thanks!
