Upstate NY . Was FL.
Which output should I use ? I thought watts was Volts x Current. Apparently it’s not charging at all with this dongle my friend told me. I already mentioned to them that having two devices on it wouldn’t work / charge well. But they claim that only iPhone was connected and it charges extremely slow. Thanks.

Both ports' max will likely be 5W * 2.4A = 12W, as that is Apple's (slightly proprietary) limit on USB-A chargers. For higher charging rates on iPhones, Apple only unlocks those via USB-C chargers.

12W is still good (I charge 5W overnight), but it'll take quite some time (2+ hours) to go from 0% to 100% on 12W.

The 5V*3A, 6.5V*3A, 9V*2A, 12V*1.5A = these are other non-Apple proprietary standards, unfortunately. Apple maxes out at 5V on USB-A and I don't think they allow over 2.4A. :(

Indeed. I’m happy with 12W, thank you.
