Which color iPad 2 - Black or White?

both are the same machine with just the bezel as the only difference. i dunno, which one do YOU like? having a poll like this is like being asked to recommend my color choice to someone else so why not just pick one over the other and be done with it
We've had tons of threads on this.
To summarize the main points, I think:
-They're both under glass, so neither gets any more dirty than the other, but the black one may show fingerprints and smudges more.
-The white one tends to frame read content such as web pages and ebooks better, since to the dark-on-light content flows more seamlessly into a light backdrop.
-The black one tends to frame watched content such as movies and TV shows better, particularly in a darker room, and since widescreen content gets letterboxes.
But they're the same device. Choose whichever you prefer.

I got the black one and I love it. I do a lot of writing and I think it makes the text pop a little bit more. I also think that black looks classier. That's just my opinion though. I have the black iPhone, a black car, a black cat, and I like my coffee black... Hmmm noticing a trend!

can't say I am. I'm a white girl in an interracial iPad 2 relationship.

White you cannot see fingerprints on the bezel, as expected. But, even being the owner of the white, I would have much rather been able to get a black on launch day. They ran out of em
That's good to hear, to me fingerprints won't make much of a diff. as I will have a screen protector on it. The only thing I noticed was the White's bezel edges tend to get dirty, while I was in the Apple shop this past weekend, I noticed that all their white model's sides, the side-strip between glass and aluminum were all dirty.
My opinion is that the white one looks a lot better. Every person is different, but getting the white iPad was an easy choice for me.
Had to go with white bc it's all they had when I bought mine.

Same here. However I think the white is nice because it is only found on the iPad2 model.
Black,black,black! Unless you really like the white color. The white destracts you from the screen to much and sometimes can even make the screens rem dimmer because of the contrast.
