Which configuration should I choose?

Hi!

I'm about to order a new iMac 5K because it's time to renew my pc (it's pretty old... 7 years or so...). I have a rMBP 15" for 2 years and it's amazing.

My only question is about the specs...
Should I choose the i7 or the M295X instead? Which one will increase the performance?

Is the Hyper-Threading (only on the i7 processor) important?

I'm choosing the 3TB Fusion drive by the way and 8GB of RAM (2 x 8GB more at crucial store).
