Which Cpu's could we upgrade to?

So, ifixit.com says that the cpu can be upgraded. Does anyone have a list of possible cpu upgrade? More specifically Core i7's.

i was about to build a gaming machine
3.4Ghz Sandy Bridge 2600K
AMD 6950 2GB GPU

but decided this was a decent price + monitor all in one and the CPU it in it im not sure if its the 2600 or the 2600K (overclocking) but its identical to what i was interested in and the 6970M gpu should be on pair with the 6950 desktop card

The 6970m is no where near a 6950 desktop card. Closer to a desktop 6850.
