its about choosing and deciding which is the one thing to buy when you dont wana buy both .

its like a guy is naked but found/got a jacket , now he has to choose between a pant or a shirt .

analogy - jacket - MBA , Shirt - Tablet , pant - phone

I own a 2013 MacBook Air, what if I want a Kindle, why is that not an option?

I have been debating about getting the Surface 2, can I not purchase that if I own a 2013 MacBook Air, am I not allowed to?

I never understood these "what should I buy threads", they baffle me, are people not capable of making decision on their own?

It's all up to you
Do you want a tablet and phone?
just a phone?
Do you want a completely customizable user experience?
Do you want great platform integration?
If you don't know what to decide. iPhone is always a good choice, but if you want customization or want to install ROMs/root later on, by all means Android is for you.

I have android and tried all stuff with modding .... Had enough ... Want to move to somethin stable ....my android doesnt allow updates and is not stable ......so want stable system .......
I have already made my choice but just wanted everybodys feedback like as what device they like more ....better

Yeah really doesn't make sense.. one choice is a phone and the other choice is a phone and tablet? You're on an Apple forum.. most people are going with the iPhone. Check an Android forum and the results will flip flop.

I have a MBP and an iPhone 5. Syncs great.
