So, my Dad ordered the new Canon PowerShot G6, he is upgrading from the G2. He liked that the G6 had a slightly better zoom, more megapixels, and the D!GIC chip from Canon. Well, here's the deal,
He can get a Canon PowerShot S2 IS with the 12x optical zoom, D!GIC II chip, USB2.0 connection, for the same price.
What would you get? He uses it for vacation photos, mostly a family type camera. What would give the better picture? Is the 12x zoom (vs. the 4x on the G6) worth it?
