Hi!

My iMac has shipped! It will be here this week!

Now, I want do buy a Dock for my iPhone. I own a 3G, but I will change it for an iPhone 4 by January, so I will like to get a Dock, and don't have to change it later.

Which one should I get? Will iPhone 4 dock work woth 3G? I will get the Universal Dock, but it's more expensive and I want the new Remote, not the old one.

I also own an iPod Touch and an iPod Classic, that I will connect some times to the iMac too.

Your best bet would probably be the universal dock. It's future proof, whereas the only thing needed when a new iDevice comes out is an adapter piece (given that it's not an iPad or anything larger than iPod/iPhone). It might cost more now, but it will cost less later and is compatible with more devices than a dock made specifically for a single product.

And if you're still concerned about price, try eBay, Amazon or something else that might offer a discount.
