Which drive should i use to install Premiere

I have just installed an additional 256gb ssd in my 27" Imac alongside the original 1tb harddrive.

Can anyone tell me about the software installation?

I assume that the O/S needs to be installed on the ssd but where do I install Adobe Premiere Pro? I am also installing office 2011 for mac.

Is it preferable to install the O/S and Premiere on the ssd and office on the disk drive? Would this improve performance for video editing.

I would install all programs on the ssd and use the larger drive for data storage. I'm assuming you moved the operating system to the ssd.
