Which DVD Burner Should I Buy?

It's time to replace my Pioneer DVR-105 4X burner in my G4 Powermac. I haven't paid attention over the past few years to which of the current burners are Tiger friendly, as well as which of those have proven to be reliable. Anyone care to chime in with an opinion? I don't need anything fancy. I figure anything in the $30-$60 range will probably blow away what I have now. I just want something faster, which will work with as wide a variety of media brands as possible.

I would look for something supporting DVD-RAM and Lightscribe, then there's not much to choose from.

Almost anything is 'tiger friendly'...thanks to our friends at www.patchburn.de Through Patchburn 4 you should be able to use -almost- any burner with tiger without a problem.

I've had a few drives of varying sort. The only one that wasn't so good for tiger was the SATA Plextor burner that I had (which I only got to keep my IDE channels free). IDK about other brands. IIRC I have a Samsung burner.
