Hey guys, so I'm about to invest in a new soundcard. I previously had the MOTU Traveler MK3 and now using a USB card temporarily. See the thing is, I KNOW I'm gonna sell my 2011 15" MBP when the next big upgrade to the MBP 15" comes out - (the one we're all waiting for)

So my question is this: Should I be choosing a Thunderbolt soundcard, a Firewire 400 or 800, a USB card, or even maybe wait and see if USB-C soundcards come out in time for the MBP release?

I'm wanting to use it for live shows with wet effects going out and then back into the soundcard, so low latency is of the upmost importance, and I need something super stable and built for no latency, core audio and all that good stuff. I'm not a fan of the FW800 port since the jack is a bit wobbly, and so I might as well make the right decision now, and go with the correct port - cause I have no idea if thunderbolt, firewire or even usb will be "supported" on the next MBP, and I don't wanna get into a crazy dongle situation - I need something that's future proof. So ya, basically I'm most concerned with what type of chord I should be going for, I kinda know all the big players on the market, so I can decide between MOTU, Apogee etc. on my own. Thanks so much :)
