Which extension/hack for ATV2?

I am gonna pick up an ATV2 after work, as a Media Player for my loungue, I want to play

BBC iPlayer
a selection of HD mkv and mp4 files, all saved on my iMac (wired to ATV via switch)

What should I install XBMC, Plex.....?
