Which External HD to go for?

I'm looking at these two HDs for my iMac, which do you recommend? And also, if you've used them, please tell me about their performances!

I recommend neither, what is your budget? I suggest Lacie.

What is your purpose for the drive?

If you want a backup drive, get the studio, since it has 4 interfaces and is great for future compatibility.

If you want one drive that's either fast, or is very stable (option of various RAID modes), get the pro.
