I have to have an external portable hard drive for my PJ class this semester. It needs to be at least 250GB but for not much more I've found I can get a 500GB drive. It needs to be 7200rpm and have a USB2.0 and a Firewire800 Port. The best ones I have come across are:

1) G-Tech Drive

2) OWC Portable

I'm extremely caught in between on either drive and I constantly wonder if there is a better option out there for that price range. If anyone could provide some input that would be great!

Sorry, but ... while it is obviously self-evident for you, I for one (and, perhaps, many others) haven't a clue what a 'PJ class' might be. Would you be so kind as to enlighten me / us what this jargon is? Thanks, d00d.

cheers,
