Which External usb3 enclosure

I got a new iMac with a 256 gb ssd, now I need to figure out which enclosure to buy. Looking for a 3.5" drive enclosure.

They seem to range from cheap $25 new egg ones to $100+. I need a reliable performance enclosure that will be up for running all day, will spin down the hdd when the Mac is sleeping. I looked at owc but seems reviews aren't great on those or Mac ally.

There must be others running their macs this way, what are you using?
