Back when I preordered the 5th gen iPods, I remember alot of people using some site to watch realtime progress of the Fedex flights- I can find the site via Google, but can't seem to find any flight numbers from Shanghai to Anchorage (that's what I remember the flights being last time). Does anyone know the fedex flight numbers? I'd really love to watch the planes again.
 
Yes, in fact.. people do; it's part of the fun of it all ..on top of being an Apple fan, I'm also somewhat of an aviation nerd..

By the way, I found out that FX 48 and FX 94 are the flight numbers; they depart PVG and land in ANC . Does anyone know a site that shows international flights on a map? Most of them only have information once it's in US airspace.

Try flightaware. I've used it to track a bunch of Lufthansa flights crossing the pond, so it should work for the pacific. I'm not certain that it tracks flights for cargo carriers, but I would assume that it does.
