Hey guys I just downloaded http://codykrieger.com/gfxCardStatus so I could switch between graphics cards but I want to make sure real quick...which one is the graphics card I use when I want to save battery/less performance?

Integrated = Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory5

Discrete = AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics processor with 1GB of GDDR5 memory

Sorry for stupid question just need to know.

This should be the default setting in your energy saving preferences but turn on Automatic graphic's switching. When your using less graphic intensive programs/apps your Mac will automatically use the HD 3000 integrated card but when you start using higher GPU demanding apps it will switch to your 6750m.

Lol at buying a $2000+ computer and not knowing the difference between integrated and discrete graphics.

One day I want to be as rich as you, I'd buy anything I want without researching it.

integrated will save your battery life.

use gfxCardStatus if you use a application (skype, chrome, twitter) etc. that turns it on and doesn't really need it.
