Which hard drive?

I'm looking to get a hard drive, hopefully 150GB+, but I really know nothing about this.

Here's my situation: I have a Powermac G5 (single) which I will probably upgrade next year to a Mac Pro.

In the meantime I am desperately needing more HD space ad probably more RAM too.

So, any advice? Where to buy from in the uk, what to buy?

I would go for the WD MyBookPro 250GB external drive or the 500 GB version if you can swing the difference.

At least that way, you'll have a great back-up drive, no matter which machine
you choose later.

If you're upgrading soon anyway, I wouldn't put too much into that single processor G5, but 2 GB RAM would help performance if you're not already
so equippped.
