I am planning to build a HTPC dedicated for Plex media when funds become available however i am running out of HDD space so am buying a 3TB 3.5" HDD to use with my current Mac set up.

Can someone recommend a reliable/inexpensive HDD enclosure to house either 1 or 2 3.5" HDD.

I am not looking for a NAS.

I have experience with this passive enclosure, and was happy with it when I used it. Using a faster HDD, I got read and write speeds of 220 MB/s (so presumably the chipset it uses is pretty solid), and I was happy with how the fanless design managed heat.
