I've ordered the iMac Pro (8 core/Vega56/64GB ram/2TB SSD). I recently installed a new 4K LG OLED TV(55" C7P) with audio quest Pearl HDMI cable and want to occasionally use the TV as a display in may home office. I need to get an HDMI adapter cable to hook up to USB-C on the iMac Pro.

I've done some searching but still not sure what would be the best choice for this cable. Any advice would be appreciated.

Since you just need to output video I probably wouldn’t spend extra on the multi port adapter. If you already have a MacBook or MacBook Pro it could be useful for those too and I’d consider it.

Personally, I’d probably just buy the AmazonBasics USB-C to HDMI Adapter, but it’s sold out right now. If I needed it now then I’d go with the Belkin. Monoprice sells a USB-C to HDMI Cable, but it seems limited to 30Hz and I don’t know if it supports HDR or not. Another option is to use your Apple TV if you have one of those, but I think there’s a slight delay so it might not be suited for all applicants.

With digital signals it either works or it doesn’t. The Apple stuff works, but the built-in cord is where it usually fails on their adapters.
