OK, I downloaded and installed the "Software" from this page (the "universal" in the picture).

BUT, the scanner doesn't work - it crashes/quits or just does nothing (I didn't try printing though - LOL, don't need to print!). Do I need to install the "Driver" also? I ASSumed that the software contained the driver, and choose it because it was listed as universal... but I really need to scan and can't afford a new scanner at this time.

Thanks for any guidance - and I tried to search here, really, i did - but obviously i have no clue as to what to search ON. Story of my life...

No offense but..... that didn't exactly HELP me much.

Can you see the choices they have? Does anyone think I did the right one and it's a hardware issue?? Or should i try the driver too? The one that isn't labeled Universal....

Another thing to add to the list....
