Which Imac to buy?

I really need help here and fast.


I bought an imac from ebay last night(Sunday night) I paid minutes after the auction.

Well here's the specs for the one I bought:
New iMac 24-inch 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
320GB hard drive
Comes with Apple Care and a 7 day return policy
$1,617 (already paid for)


Should I get a refund and purchase this refurbished one from Apples website?

Refurbished iMac 24-inch 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme
2GB memory
500GB hard drive
$1,734 with taxes



Hardest decision of my list seems like! Help!

Personally I'd get the refurb. Your getting an extreme core duo in the refurb. in the one on ebay, it doesn't have an extreme. And for only 100 dollars more! Jeeze its a steal.

I just wanted to let you know I did go with the one on Apples website. The refund from Ebay is being settled.

Good choice, the 2.8 refurb is much more powerful then the 2.4.
