Hi,
it's a long time for me to work on a mac, but i will return once again to a mac. My problem seems simple, but i am puzzled because i am not sure which configuration to choose. Besides, on this side it said to wait till new iMac are coming out.
Since i was using in the meantime (some 5 years) a pc and have some games which i still like to use from time to time, what would i need to get my games to work on an iMac?
As far as i understand you can use bootcamp and you need a valid copy of windows to run basically any windows software. But since games require perhaps more dedicated hardware, i wonder if i should choose certain components for the imac.
As far as games goes, i like to be able to run Battlefield2 and some steamgames.
For futuregames i most likely will switch to a console.

Also regarding pc software. I have some software i like, but i am not sure if i need them at all with a mac.
Alcohol 120% - Dvd writing
Acdsee Pro - Photomanaging with tagging
Newsbin - Newsgroup Download Tool
Mediamonkey - Musiclibrary Managment
I love these programs, but if there is a better solution on the mac i might just switch to a better program.

So, if someone had the same problem or has a solution, please let me know. I used a mac the last time as the G3 were out. So its a while ago and things changed surely since then.
Thanks for input, i'll appreciate it.:)
