Which Imac

Hey, thinking of getting an imac in the next couple of days, and cant decide what to get, my uses will be a little photoshop, indesign, little video editing, some gaming and office type stuff.

I want the 27" one, i am thinking either the base i3 one for £1400 or the refurb i5 2.66 @ £1269

Any help would be great

Refurb is much more powerful and better value so I would get it.

Yes, about as good as the 5750 in the new one

Do you reckon that i will be able to pick a re-furb up from the apple store, or just have to order online?

They are online only. You can of course call and ask if they have some old stock they are willing to sell with a discount but generally they don't
