Hey all...just bought my girl an iPhone 4 and while I've never had insurance for any cellphone, she might want it for the potentially costly affair of losing or breaking this $650 device. (after CA sales tax)

The phone came with a flyer for a type of insurance that costs $4.95/mo. and it must be activated within 30 days of purchase. That doesn't sound too bad if only cost were the issue and not quality of the insurance.

I was also reading through the SquareTrade plan for $99 which I believe covers 2 years worth, including accidental damage...but NOT loss or theft.

She would certainly like both accidental protection AND loss or theft. Please point me in the right direction as far as which ones to stay away from and which one(s?) are decent.

Thanks very much! :) :apple:
