So I have two iPhone 6's coming in and oddly enough they're from two separate factories

I attached both screen shots so I thought I'd ask if anyone has noticed quality type issues with either factory.

Let's be honest. If Apple we're seeing significant more quality issues with any particular factory, don't you think they would do something about it?
There quality is pretty solid, as is their ability to sort out any issue. I wouldn't worry about it.

I was curious about this as well, but it'll be nearly impossible to determine if there is any difference because we won't have a sufficient sample size to isolate the 'factory' variable.

For instance, variations in quality may also be due to manufacturing week -- tolerances can be adjusted on the manufacturing floor on the fly and only Apple & Foxconn will have that data.

Also, and perhaps most importantly, most people don't have the sophisticated measuring equipment necessary to determine how accurate their display is, and you'd have to take the phone apart to determine which supplier provided it.

I'd love to be the data manager at Apple who has a mammoth database with all of these variables to parse through (not sarcasm at all, I actually like that work).

I guess I was referring to yellow screens or people who have had issues so far here on MR.

F1 is where a majority of the problem devices have originated. The quality control standards are lower at that factory. You could consider returning your F1 iPhone when it arrives, and try your luck again, but its up to you.

If that is the case, then you would have to play the lottery to get a good one that starts with F1 or F2. My iPhone 6 Plus starts with F2 and I have checked thoroughly and no issues, screen is perfect, no yellow tints, no dead pixels.

----------

I don't think it really matters where it came from because they will be the same. It depends on what screen manufacture they used.

If this matters:

Nice Name: iPhone 6 plus
Family name:
Group1: iPhone
Group2: 6 plus
Generation:
CPU speed: 1.4GHz
Screen size: 5.5 inch
Screen resolution: 1920x1080 pixels
Colour: Gold
Production year: 2014
Production week: 39 (October)
Model introduced: 2014
Capacity: 128GB
Memory - flavour: xx
Memory - maximum total: 1GB
Factory: F2 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn)

Mine starts with F2 and have no issues at all. No yellow tints either.

Mine is C3 and I've not had any issues. I'm curious to know whereabouts "C3" is in China though, it's always been a mystery!

so...your phone was made....today??? :O

C3 here, week 37. no issues apart from the fact the display is a very tiny bit loose from the case (ie if i press the top corner, the glass depresses a tiny tiny bit.
not worth the hassle for me to exchange and potentially get a dud screen

Well I got mine yesterday. But if you google search, week 39 is actually September 22, 2014 - September 28, 2014. So, yes my phone was made last week. So I'm not sure why the chipmunk site is saying that Week 39 is October.

Can someone please post the link for getting factory information on iPhone 6/6+.

I'm wondering how you have phones still coming that were made in week 34? I got mine on release day and it was made in week 36.

Factory FK
Week 38

Looks flawless.

I don't know how to look for the yellow screen people talk about, so I can't comment on that.
