So I received two iPhone 6's and I wanted to compare both screens. They were both made in Week 34 but they were made into desperate factories.

Which one do you prefer, the one in the left or right? I can see a little dark spot on the left one (in the middle / left area).

I feel like one has a pinkish hue and the other yellow.

Edit - I added the picture iPhone7ate9 manipulated.

The one on the left looks better to me as well, but it's hard to tell how accurate each one is because a lot depends on whether the camera you're using is displaying the color accurately, and whether the displays each of us are using are calibrated properly.

Pick any one any enjoy it
This obsessing over iPhones is crazy
No normal person could tell the difference

One on the right is warmer but looks more evenly lit, I'd probably go for that considering I've been battling uneven backlighting on the 6.

Call me crazy but I went with the right one. The left one feels like it has a pinkish hue and it definitely has a mini little "cloud" ok the middle/left side.

I'm pumped to enjoy this thing.

Doesn't look like it, to tell you the truth.

I'm convinced they look the same because the picture quality you took isn't all that sharp, so it's hard to tell. In the first picture, the one on the right looks a little better, while in the second picture, the one on the left looks better.

However, there is basically zero difference. Take a look at which one you think looks best and use that one.

I didn't care for the one on the left due to the pinkish hues.

Yeah I definitely had to "pick my poison" with either one. My old iPhone had a yellow screen so it's not a big deal. But the one on the left had a dark blotch that was annoying when scrolling on a white background or settings so I'd rather take an evenly lit screen.

After a little photo manipulation the choice is clear:

You're right about the dark spot on the left one

You are right in that OP should go with whatever that suits his eyes the best, but they are definitely not the same. This is not due to image quality of picture or the condition it was taken. No two LCD screen will ever be the same. Most people simply do not see the difference because it is subtle and it will only be apparent in certain colors and/or viewing situations.

Yeah the spot was actually noticible during use (especially when scrolling) so that's good to confirm.

When you say the choice is clear, which on do you mean lol.

Is that just a white wallpaper? How did you get it onto the screen?

Is there a way to check the manufacturer of the screen?

I don't think there is a way to check unless you teardown the phone and manage to detach the screen off the glass. You just have to take a wild guess whether it's LG or Sammy or even Sharp?

It's a white picture that I saved to images. Then I went to camera roll and zoomed in so it fit the screen.

Back when the iPhone 4S was made, I had a serial number that started with DN and I heard that the DN models for the 4S was very good. So when I purchased the 4S, I requested Apple sales to give me the one that started with DN and the phone was great. No issues.
