The most beautiful box is the one that displays the most beautiful and unique design of all the iPhones.

The iPhone 4s of course:

The iPhone photo is taken at an angle to show off the aluminum band frame and glass back. The UI also looks nicer, imo.

You can appreciate packaging while also enjoying and focusing on the product in the packaging.

In the last 20 years, I think that Apple has had some of the best packaging for electronic. Not just the outside, but the inside too.

It showed that Apple genuinely cared about the user experience, at least they used to.

Many companies have emulated Apple's style of packaging.

This reminds me of a YouTube video from the mid-2000's, asking what if Microsoft designed
the packaging of the iPod:

you can, im just the type of guy who focuses on the product rather than the packaging. Carry on
The product is important, but packaging can provide a good experience as well.

That mockup fits so well with Microsoft's packaging of that era. Hilarious.

Apple's minimalist box styles have always looked better than the competition. The only time I think they went too far with the minimalism was the iPhone 6 box which didn't even have an image of the product on the front, only an embossed outline.

Collecting NIB Apple products is doable because the box itself is nice enough to put on a shelf. No need to open and display the contents.
