So obviously I have too much time on my hands and have been thinking, which do you think is a bigger detriment to success, a problem with appearance that cannot be (easily) fixed such as scars, burns, disfigurements(that are mostly cosmetic in nature), women with lots of facial hair etc.) or problems with one's voice(such as a lisp or guys with really high voices etc.)

I'm not talking about actually disabilities but merely problems that only affect a person's outward appearance....

I would think that although people judge by appearance first, most of those can be hidden, a voice cannot be hidden and people seem to take people with strange voices less seriously than they do those with what can be considered "normal" voices....

Does stuttering count as a defect or a disability? I stutter and I can say it's a pretty hard one to overcome (or rather "I-i-i-ts a pr-r-r-etty h-a-a-a-hard one t-to overcome" :D), even though I'm a fairly decent looking guy. Also, what type of success? Business? Relationship? General personal interaction?

depends on what you judge as success ... Actress Jocelyn Wildenstein has the answer ... plastic surgery
