The leather loop comes in two sizes: 150-185mm and 180-210mm.

If I wrap a piece of paper so that it's completely in contact with my skin all the way round I measure 175mm.

If I get the smaller size, I'm worried there'll be not much overlap in the strap and it might look odd.

If I get the larger size I'm worried there may be too much overlap.

Which size would you go for?

175 is clearly in between 150-185. Sounds like the size you want.

get the smaller size. the centimeter extra is enough slack to hold you if you gain another 30 pounds.

The larger size is simply too large

I'm 148 mm. Not sure which modern loop would be best for me as I'm really on the edge.

Small is 135-150 mm. Medium is 145-165. I don't know if Small won't leave enough band to work with and worry Mediun will leave too much. I thought I had tiny wrists until I saw their sizing chart.
