Im a graphic design student about to graduate and looking to upgrade from my little 2GB Ram Macbook. I already know i'm going to be getting the 15" anti glare screen. I'm planning on getting 8GB of ram, but my question is will I really notice the difference between the AMD Radeon HD 6490M and the AMD Radeon HD 6750M? Also same question for the 2.0GHz quad-core and the 2.2GHz quad-core?

The processor will not yeild noticable benefits, i would definately reccomend going with a high res display, that is a must imo for the 15".

Get external monitor for use at home. That is probably the best upgrade you can do.

CPU comes in play if you are working with 300dpi images (or above or generally retouching large images), like doing desktop publishing and switching between PS and ID in your workflow. And of course occasional 3D if you want to spice things us.

GPU not so much difference between the two if working strictly in CS.
