Is one method better or faster to activate your iPhone 4s using iTunes or just turning on iPhone and using the iPhone itself to activate?

I don't have my iPhone yet but want to be prepared when I do.

You don't need iTunes to activate the phone. Just turn it on and it asks you a few questions, then it's active. Took me less than one minute.

Which ever one you can get to work! It really doesn't matter. Though it's easier on the phone since you don't have to keep plugging/unplugging your phone from the computer each time the activation fails. :)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

By cable is faster! Also allows u to turn wifi sync on too

If u did it by cable then you plugged in the iPhone before turning it on or after u turned the iPhone on?

I did it on the phone and it was very quick. I had to restart the phone to get a signal though.

It seems most activation issues are coming from people activating on the computer.
