Which is the best way to share iTunes library among various computers?

Hi, I have an iMac, Air and a Mini. I would like to have access to my iTunes library on each computer at home (not at the same time). What would be the best setup?

I thought of putting the library on an external shared disc, so the path to the items would be the same for all the computers "/Volumes/Disc/..."

Any suggestions? Thanks

You should be able to share the master library by using home sharing:
