As per the title, I had thought the iJailbreak method used Touch firmware, but I notice it is (currently) downloading the iPhone firmware. Does anyone know the answer?

Thanks,

Tom

the best and easiest ipod touch firmware jailbreak I found is ipodtouchmasters repo source: http://ipodtouchmaster.com/files/repo.xml

before doing this you will need a jailbroken 1.1.2 with BSD subsystem

go to installer then click on sources, then edit and click add.

now add http://ipodtouchmaster.com/files/repo.xml when you click ok the installer will refresh sources.

when thats done go back to install and you should have a catergorycalled 1.1.3 Jailbreak+Apps, click this

now click the only item in here, install and install again to confirm.

now you have time to go do stuff as this takes a while (think it was like half an hour for me). This may seem like its not doing anything after a short time but it is dont worry just leave it and it should hopefully reboot at some point into a jailbroken 1.1.3 with all the bells and whistles of the jan upgrade + apps

Hey do you know if i can use that ipodtouchmaster repo in a jailbroken 1.1.3 ipod with jailbroked by the dev theam, the one that doesnt add the apps or do i have to downgrade again to 1.1.1 or 1.1.2?
thanks

only way to find out is to try it really I have seen people asking about this but not seen any reports back about success or failure
