Which jailbreak program?

Pointless Intro:
I went two years with the iPhone 3g and a year with the iPhone 4 and never found a reason to jailbreak. This changed when I decided to be cheep and buy the wifi only ipad 2. Since the university I attend owns my apartment and they forbid routers on their network, tethering is my best option. So I've decided to keep my unlimited data plan and finally jailbreak.

So my question is what do you think is the best way to jailbreak for someone that is new to the concept?

However, go to iClarified. com and select your device using jailbreaking wizard and it can choose the right one for you.
