Hi,

Today, I was playing some videos on my 13" MBP. After the seventh four minute video I realized the laptop was somewhat hot. The computer was lying on a small bench. The top, woven with natural fibers, had a pattern with many small circles that helped to vent the heat. I was not in an ACed room.

Is there something out there you may want to recommend me where I could sit the MBP ??

By the way, I was looking for a sleeve or something to protect the laptop and I saw this. I just wonder if any of these will allow for enough ventilation:

Very kind regards,

I think there was a massive thread about stands a year or two ago. You can probably get a lot more opinions if you search it out.

I use the Rain mstand. In terms of cooling, it's probably helpful since the laptop is up in the air and there's a slight gap between the stand and the laptop. I certainly have never had cooling issues and this is my main machine and it's on almost all the time.
