Which lcd would be a good buy to use with a dvd player to watch movies?

I'm looking to play divx movies and currently own a philips dvp-3046 divx dvd player .. so what sort of inputs would i need on my lcd ?

The dvd currently only has component and composite video out . . and i require only the bare minimum .. dvd + lcd to view divx movies .. no hd or anything fancy ..

You may want to consider buying an LCD TV. It will have a built in tuner so you can also watch TV, most have a VGA port for use on a computer, and they generally come with both composite and component inputs. There are several 26" HDTV LCD's that come with all of the above and are comparable in price (in USA) to the cost of a 24" LCD monitor.

I believe your other option would be to either use a computer in between and something like eyeTV, or possibly locate some VGA to Component cabling. Good luck to you.
