Hi,

I'm just curious which system location services I should have checked off for my iPhone 5?

Thanks,

Shawn

I've got a few on. I don't notice a huge impact on battery life.

I have them all off since the days of iOS 6 if not even iOS 5 without running into any issues and everything working as it should (at the very least for me).

I have all the system ones off and only those apps which need GPS switched on - ie my sat nav, maps and a couple of weather apps.

While were talking about this menu can someone tell me what status bar icon does. Apple makes it sound like its shows the arrow at the top but I have always had it turned off and always get that.

It just shows an arrow in the top right on your status bar when an app is using you location info

That particular one is in relation to location services being used by one of those system services, it's unrelated to the icon that shows up when an app uses location services.
