I made the decision in my heart long ago, but I've finally decided to actually act on it. I'm getting an Apple logo tattoo. Over my heart of course. Now, I just have to decide which version I want. I'm leaning towards a straight black one, but part of me also wants to retro rainbow.

Suggestions? (Either, pick one of the two or pick other and tell me what you think I should get)

Personally, I feel just getting a plain Apple logo (or any other corporate logo) as a tattoo is a little lame. Figure out how to make it your own.

If you feel you have to have an Apple logo, go for the original one:

I personally wouldn't ever get any corporate logo tattooed on me.

But, if you are set on the idea, just go for the plain black one. If you ever decide to get it removed in the future it will be cheaper because there isn't a wide range of colors.

ive always thought that the firewire symbol would be a sweet tattoo, i wouldnt get an apple one though, as much as i love them, they could be a completely different company in 15 years time.

I'm not fat or hairy like him.:p And for the record, Apple is WAY cooler than Zune, and you all know it.:p

I like Apple and everything... but I wouldn't get a tattoo of their logo.

well

for an example

my english teacher (she is like 45) im in grade 12'
she has a nike logo on her leg..and she got it when she was 19..and didnt regret it and she still doesnt!

(i have a small black on on my top left shoulder/back and i love it..i dont regret it

If you are really set on doing it, then go with a plain black one.

Unless you have the entire gay pride/mac user thing going.

A neat alternative would be to do a plain outline of the apple logo - kind of like the inverse of apple stickers.

... I'm getting an Apple logo tattoo. Over my heart of course. ...
Just so you know...

A tattoo "over the heart" basically means on your sternum. Since there is a bone just under the skin here, unless you are quite fat, this is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo there is!

To be brutally frankly, the first thought that would come to my mind if I saw that would be ****. :(

Ok, I personally love tattoos as long as they are cool! I would not get that rainbow one cause it is just old and ugly. The black is cool but an all WHITE one would be cool too. And doesn't everyone who is getting an Apple tattoo do this at the MacWorld Expo along with other fellow Mac users?? :)

I think tattoos are stupid.

That said, if you are going to get something, get something personal, not a corporate logo.

I would go with black though if I wanted to look like a walking billboard/apple fan boy. The rainbow one is a little gay prideish but if thats what you want then go with that.

Just beware, some equally crazy fanboy that loves windows and hates macs might come after you and kill you. You've branded yourself, he'll know you like macs! :p

I've done more thinking and looking in the mirror, and I'm going to get it on my chest on the upper left. Between nipple and shoulder.

And I'd love to get a fancy shiny one, but I don't think you can get tattoes like that.:p
