Macbook air or macbook pro?
My mother wants a laptop and she doesn't know which to get.
She does simple things like: Web-surfing, email, chatting, watching movies on netflix, youtube, music. Need answer soon, going to the mall tomorrow.

Air, 13" might be better for movie watching.
Has your mom good eyesight (corrected or uncorrected?

^^

I agree, as long as your Mom has decent eyesight the 13" Air will be fine. Go for the 4GB model, because unlike other Macs, the Airs RAM is soldered to the logic board and can't be upgraded.

She wears glasses, corrected. And for someone who does the same thing as her, like my sister. although my sister has a new macbook pro but her and my mother do the same task on a computer. Do you think she should exchange for an air too?

A 15" MBP would be that much better on her eyes.

My suggestion is go to a store, like the apple store and check out the models first hand.

And to add on this, take your mom. If you're shopping for a laptop for her, she needs to have a chance to touch/feel the system. They're great at the Apple store about letting you flog their display systems. :apple:

I have the AIR, which is awesome when I want to bring it somewhere, but to me a 15" macbook pro is middle of the road.
