Which Macbook Pro for External 100hz 4K Display

Hey guys,

Currently I have my 2015 13” Macbook Pro connected to a 4K 100hz Display. It runs fine on 60hz.
Im thinking for a while now on an upgrade for my current Macbook Pro. It would be very nice if I could use the whole potential of my external 4K Display. So...which Macbook Pros support 100hz/4K output?

I don't think you're going to get 4k @100hz...

you need MBP with DisplayPort 1.4 support (by TB3 Titan Ridge without Intel iGPU as main GPU), so MBP 15 2018 or newer

If you’re happy with the display that’s great but I’m sorry that isn’t 4K. Even taking the UHD definition rather than DCI, that display has about 59% of the pixels of a 4K display.
