I am planning to buy a Macbook pro 15 inch
i am was thinking which one to buy
Glossy wide screen
Hi-Res Glossy wide screen
Hi-Res Anti-Glare wide screen
Whats the difference and whats the best one
Please let me know guys
thanks

Hi-Res is 1680x1050 while standard resolution is 1440x900. The anti-glare display has less glare but won't look as sharp. It's all a matter of personal preference that only you can decide.

Antiglare is nice if you tend to use your laptop where you can't control the ambient light.

I'd rather have a matte screen, but it only comes at the higher resolution, and I'd rather have the lower resolution more, so that's what I'd get on the 15" model.

Personally I'd also get the higher end config since the GPU's 4x better.

The glossy/anti-glare (matte) discussion is largely one of personal choice. I would go to the Apple Store and check them out, and see which one you like.

Personally, I went for the Anti-Glare hires. I don't care for the glossy screens.
