I was either looking at the previous generation 15 inch with a dual core 2.8ghz cpu, 4gb of ram, and a 500gb hard drive. It also has 512mb 330m graphics card.

It is between that and the newer 2.0ghz quad core, 4gb of ram, 500gb hard drive, and 256mb of hd6490 graphics.

I use Adobe Web Premium CS5.5 mostly. I only play a few games, the most demanding is probably MineCraft.

My main concern is the video card. I heard the gt330m is better than the hd6490?

Also, does anybody know when the new macbook pros will come out? I've heard they'll come out soon, but if they won't come out in the next few weeks, I'll have to get a current one. Thanks!

I'd go for the new 2.0 quad core or a refurbished quad core 2.2.

MBPs are not expected to be "refreshed" until Ivy Bridge comes out; placing the refresh in the first quarter of 2012 (most likely).

As always, the bottom line is that if you need one now, buy it now.
