which MacBook should I buy?

hi all, what macbook should I chose:

1. Macbook pro 2011, 13 inch, 4gb ram, i5 2,3 and 500gb hdd 220$
   
   or
   
   macbook air 2012, i5, 8gb ram 13inch 260$

I don’t think it’s a contest - MacBook Air is a much better deal with SSD storage and more RAM and will feel much faster. Not sure if the 2011 PRO has a retina screen, but still the HDD is going to make it feel like a slow computer
