I really am quite indecisive when it comes to purchasing computers, so I would appreciate your advice. I already have an Apple wireless keyboard, Magic Mouse and display. I'd be using my machine for photoshop, aperture and final cut.
I may like to sell it in two years so that is another factor. This indecisiveness is driving my crazy so I'd really like your input!

27 inch iMac i5 3.2 + fusion + gtx 680mx 2GB ram = 1997

27 inch iMac i7 3.4 + fusion + gtx 680mx 2GB ram = 2155

21 inch iMac i7 3.1 + fusion + gt 650 m 512MB ram = 1618

Mac Mini i7 2.3 + crucial ram and SSD = 848

Mac Mini i7 2.6 + crucial ram and SSD = 926

Mac Mini i7 2.3 + built in SSD and crucial ram = 989

Mac mini i7 2.3 + fusion and crucial ram = 950

Either iMac with i7 CPU, 16gb, and 3tb fusion
Or
Maxed out mini

Much depends on if you really like your current display.

One of the drawbacks to the mini is the integrated intel 4000 graphics.
How much better would the GT 650M be?

For still images, no problem. If you will do games or video, you want a GPU.

I would go iMac with apple care. Look for package pricing such as at B&H..

Way better-discrete graphics (especially nvidia's new kepler architecture) trumps integrated. I ordered a high-end 27" with the i7, 1TB Fusion, and 680MX. Otherwise, I would have opted for the high-end 21.5" with the GT 650M. I wanna game in Bootcamp and want the best possible performance. Also, I maxed the computer out, because unlike you, this will hopefully be my driver for the next 4-5 years. Get the 21.5" period.

Thank you for your feedback. I have chosen the 21.5 inch with an i7 & GT 650M.
To say I'm excited would be an understatement :D
