Which MBP has the 6Gbs SATA ports?

I currently have a late 15" 2008 MBP.. But it only has the 3Gbs internal ports..

When did they start making the 6's??

- Both. But since you're you're asking about SATA ports in the plural form, I feel I should mention that only the 2012 models have stable SATA 6 Gbit/s in both the main drive bay and the optical bay. Late 2011 has 2 x 6 Gbit/s, too, but the optical link may not function properly with SATA III drives. Early 2011 may have either 3 or 6 Gbit/s in the optical bay and is also affected by the stability lottery (mine is fine, but others are not).
